It's a special day for Mom!! The Women's Conference. She did her dance with some other women. She had fun :)

Garrison and I stayed home alone the whole day. Dad helped with the slides at the conference. We had a ton of fun.

Today was ok. Back to school. Band was better than usual. I got done with my school fairly quickly. Really nothing else.

Today we left NY. Garrison and I will (probably) be going back in the summer. In June, Grandma (and maybe Grandpa!!) will come down here and we will go see The Phantom of the opera!!! xDDDDDDDDDD

It was a pretty short drive. We stopped to get Subway for lunch. Then we stopped at the outlet mall to get flip-flops for me and shorts for Garrison. While we were there, we stopped at Gap and got a really good deal on a tank top for me: it was only $0.97!! I know, it's unbelieveable right?! Then to McDonald's for an ice cream cone!!

The Last Day...

April 11th.

It's our last day in NY!! :( We kinda just lounged today....oh yeah! I helped Grandpa make a clothesline for Grandma while Garrison, Mom, and Grandma went walking! I had fun helping! For dinner we had Grandma's famous marinated chicken, salad, hashbrown stuff (:D), and pumpkin spice bread!!!!!!! YUUUUMMMM!!!! xDD

We had an awesome time today!! We went to a few Amish stores and we got some delicious fresh bread!! You should come here and try it!! (jk)

We had an Easter Egg hunt today and it was hard! Grandma and Mom didn't go easy on us! We found 15 eggs each. And we got yummy candy :)

Later, Great Grandma came and we had a (late) Easter feast! It was yummy! We had turkey and veggies, and sweet potato, and mandarin orange jello! xDD

April 9th.

Yay! We packed and left for New York for a late Easter! The trip was pretty good, even though my back hurt a lot at the end. Lol. :) On the way Garrison and I got hot cocoa and split a huge muffin. :) It was sooo good :) When we got to NY, it was snowing! :( I was sad....But tomorrow will be beautiful!

April 8th.

Yaaayy! The shipment from Khol's came early!! I got new shirts and a pair of ripped and paint splattered jean shorts!! xDD I tried them on in the store and loved them! So Mom was so nice and ordered them for me :) I love my new shirts too. I really needed some.

Tomorrow we're going to Grandma and Grandpa's for a late Easter! We're going to have so much fun!!

Happy Easter!! It was beautiful out and I looooved it :) Dad marked up the grass for our garden and we went on a walk. It was absolutely gorgeous today!

The Best Day Ever!!

April 2nd.

Yessss!!! YEC(Youth Evangelism Celebration)!! We left home at about 11:30 and got to the church and waited till 12. Then we were off! The whole youth group spent the afternoon at the mall and at 5 p.m. we headed for YEC. Bands played, skits were performed, and speakers...well...spoke. Afterwords(this was about 12:00 a.m.) we went to Taco Bell and had a late night snack. Then we rode back to the church.

It was about 1 a.m. And yes our parents were supposed to pick us up right then. I didn't want to have Mom and Dad come to the church, so a couple friends dropped me off. I got inside and Mom and Dad started freaking out. Then I told them it was me. Heh :)

The flowers are starting to grow on our trees...they're so pretty...I had to pick some.

April Fools!!!!! Ha ha ha ha :) I pulled a prank on Garrison while he was sleeping. I put an X of eyeshadow on his cheek. It kinda faded but it was still there :) I had a kick out of it. Garrison....not so much :)

Today was soooo awesome!! Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Garrison, and I went antiqueing and we had lunch at Jen's Deli. It was really fun, and the food was really good!!!

Today was blaaahhh. School ran very late, and I just felt sluggish. This is why I don't particularly care for Mondays.

We did watch The Princess and the Frog in the evening though! Garrison and Dad went to Cub Scouts, and when they got home we were in the middle. Garrison watched the rest with us. I have to say, The Princess and the Frog and Ponyo are my favorite movies of all time!!!

You should see this movie! It's sooooo good! I' m wanting to watch it again right now!!

The trampoline is up! xD We set it up on Friday, and we've had a blast! Garrison and Mom went to an Easter Egg hunt at Danis and had fun. Garrison was so sweet and shared his candy with us :)

Grandma and Grandpa leave :( But they'll be back :) We didn't have school because Mom had to go to the doctor's because she wasn't feeling too great.

March 18th.

When I got up, I had some coffee. It was Kenyan Kind. It was verrrrry good :)

We went bowling too! Grandpa won, Grnadma got second, Garrison third, Mom fourth, and me last.......Mom and I tried our best! We really did! But we got pitiful scores :(

Later, Mom and Dad went to their adoption meeting, and Grandma and Grandpa got to stay with us! I made pulled chicken in barbeque sauce and apples with cinnamon. Mom made the salad for us. They said it was delicious! :)

Then we watched Ponyo! Grandma and Grandpa both liked it :)

March 17th.

St. Patrick's Day!! And Grandma and Grandpa arrive!!! We are so happy to see them. They are leaving on Friday to visit my aunt, and when they come back up, they're going to visit with us for a few more days!

We got The Princess and the Frog today in the mail!!!!!!!! We watched it before G-ma and G-pa came.

We also went into town and got chalk! We got chalk two years ago, and last year it disappeared. We've looked everywhere, but can't find it. So we bought some more!!

Sunday was awesome! Went to church and when I came back home, just lounged around. Then I had an idea. I go to a Bible Study on Sunday evenings, and I decided to make something for the people there since they always supply us with food (we teens get hungry you know ;D). I tried a new recipe called Crumb Cake. My mom also made one for us to have at home.

I should've gotten a picture of it before I went! It was a huge hit and was eaten all up! So I took a picture of Mom's. This is Garrison's little portion Dad saved for him :)

March 13th.

Dad and I went to look around at the outlet mall for shorts and we weren't very successful. Dad and I had fun, even though it rained and I got water up my pants.

For dinner that night we had "Make Your Own Pizza Night". I remembered reading my Aunt Tine's blog (she's in Europe now!!), and she showed pics of Italian Pizza and told us how good it was. So I decided to (try) to make Italian Pizza!!

I put tomato sauce and tomatoes for the base of my pizza. Then I piled on fresh mozzarella, Green olives, onions, and different spices. When it came out, I threw on some avocado. And it was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy good!!!!!!!!! Thanks Aunt Tine! You're my inspiration! :)

March 11th.

This day I had clarinet lessons and got done with school very quickly. Later that night I watched Garrison while Mom and Dad went to their meeting about adoption(oh, wait, did I tell you we are going to foster and possibly adopt? Oops. Heh, heh :D)

We watched Cloudy with a CHance of Meatballs and had La Rosa's calzones. Yum! Then we did chores. Next we made powerballs and crystal lite and that was pretty much our night! We had loads of fun! Here are the chickees again!

Later that evening, I went in the woods and to our creek and took some pictures...

Taller and Taller!!

Today was good. I didn't get to sleep in because I had to go to a tea meeting. I actually got up late with only 45 minutes to get ready. So, of course, I freaked out and went into panic mode. Turns out, I got ready on time(make-up hair and everything) with a few minutes to spare :) I AM going to get up on time tomorrow!

We went to the meeting and then to run a few errands. The rest of the day was just slow and easy :) Mom, Dad, and I watched Garrison's new LEGO movie with him. I gotta admit it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was actually kinda cute.

Well...no one guessed about who my subject was...so I'll reveal tomorrow if at least 2 people guess :)
And my bean plant has grown TREMANDOUSLY!!! Here it is:

Today was Friday School!!!!!!! I drew hair :) I'm still working on it though. Next time I'm going to work on drawing A FULL PORTRAIT!!!!!!!!!! Guess who my subject is?...Well, I'm not going to tell you :) I'll tell you tomorrow, but you have to guess! Or else I won't tell until some people guess :)

It's the weekend! I got Totoro and Ponyo a few days agao, and we're going to watch Totoro tonight :) We already watched Ponyo :) Oh! And we got our new camcorder. It's purdy cool :) It's better than the Flip one we had before. So expect some videos soon!! And remember, guess who my subject is that I'm going to draw!

I know, I know, Ginger again. But she looked so sweet sitting next to our new Sonlight books. She's very smart you know. She loves to read :)

My Bean Plant is Thriving!

On Monday I was sick. Still. Mom and Dad went to Garrison's Spelling Bee, and I got a text from Dad saying that Garrison had won first place in his age group!! Two years in a row :) I'm happy for him :)

My bean plant is growing tremendously! It's huge and growing everyday! xDDD

Finally Up to Date...

I'm sick today :( I had to leave in the middle of church service. My throat was really bothering me.

I just stayed on the couch all day. Yup....exciting.

My dad has a specific way he makes his graham cracker sandwich for his work lunch. My mom thinks it's hilarious. He spreads his peanut butter over the cracker evenly, then scrapes the sides of the cracker to get off the excess peanut butter. Then he takes the other cracker and pushes down the cracker just so, so the peanut butter doesn't ooze out. I think he's a perfectionist...

We've got Company!

Whew! The 27th was busy! I got to sleep till 9:30. Then Mom, Dad, and Garrison took off to Lowe's. I ate breakfast and got ready. Then they came home and we ate lunch. Then we got started on cooking. We were going to have friends over.

Mom cooked Tortilla Soup and I cooked Chicken Noodle Soup. We got the salad ready and finger veggies ready. Then Mom made Apple Crisp xDDDDDDDDDDDD I peeled aaalll the apples. 15....yeah...

So anyway, we cooked like ALL afternoon and then had an hour or two to relax. Then they came. We had a wonderful night :)My favorite part of the meal was the apple crisp topped with melting Vanilla Bean Ice Cream oozing over the crunchy topping and the soft apples. :) Yup. I didn't get a pic of it though....

Not a lot of soup left! The Chicken Noodle is in the front, Tortilla in the back.

The 26th was just an average day. Friday school was cancelled :( So we just had a day at home.

The last subject for school was photography. We were looking at the camera manual when Ginger came up to me, sat down, and twisted her head in a weird position to have it rest on my leg...? It's kinda hard to explain....so I took a pic! xD

Aah! I'm so behind on my blogging!!! Well, for the 25th I watched Garrison while Mom and Dad went to a meeting. After they came home, I wanted the new Chai Tea we had bought the day before :) Here it is:

The tea was delicious! It tasted simalar to the Chai Coffee I had when Mom and I had our Girl's Day out. :)

P.S.- We returned our Flip Video Camera :( Dad and Mom weren't happy with it. But we ordered something different. So I can't do videos for a little bit. Sorry!

We finally made it to our friend's house! Remember when I was super upset? Yeah, well, I'm not anymore! We went, and we had a great time.

We also had AWANA! We saw the sun on the way there, and it was beautiful. And guess what? We actually had our camera with us! So Mom pulled over and I opened the car door, leaned on it, and took a picture.

For the Blue and Gold Banquet we had to bring a dessert. I made Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cake. I've taken a picture of it before and posted it on my blog. This time it was fluffier because the whole serving was made. :) We had a little left(it went over very well :D) and here's Garrison licking his chops(he ate the last piece).

On the 21st we went to Garrison's Boy Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. It was boring and the food was gross(it was cafeteria food xP) but the desserts were good :)

Ok, now we're up to date :) Today was good. I passed on math, and I got my hair cut, and get this: STRAIGHTENED!!!!!!!!!! AAAGGHH!!!! xDDDD I'm sooooo happy. It looks awesome right now. I did have art today and drew another eye...:)

It's been kinda hard for me to blog lately. I just don't wanna do it. I'm getting sick of it, and it's only been two months!! I just want to stop... :p

A Disappointing Day...:(

Today was...disapointing. Don't get me wrong, school was great! But we were stuck at home because the snow was coming down like crazy. So no band.

We were supposed to go to an old friend's of ours tomorrow, but we had to cancel because it's a level 3 and all schools are closed. I was(and still am) sooo sad :(

We also are going to miss AWANA, and this is the second week we've missed it! We were supposed to have our Cubbie Valentine's party last week, then it was cancelled. Then this week, and it was cancelled!

If Sunday and Monday weren't disapointing enough, this happens. I'm just really mad right now. I'll blow it off soon though...

Yesterday I took a pic but totally did not feel like blogging. I had rearranged my room and I was soooooo tired. I moved my bed, bookshelf, art station, dresser, and end table. Happy Valentine's Day!

It's love day! Today started out well. I did an interpretive movement thing with my friends for Children's Church, and it went pretty well.

Pastor told the youth that tomorrow we were going to see "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" and have lunch at Fairfield Commons.

Then I came home and had a nice Valentine's Lunch with my family. We had shrimp with cocktail sauce and veggies with dip. Then....we had sugar cookies with cinnamon frosting and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate drizzled on top. The cake was the best :)

Then things went downhill. I helped my mom re-arrange the living room to earn money, and then my friend texted me and told me we couldn't go!! There was a lot of snow coming. :( I'm very sad right now....well, I'll get over it sometime...

I think this is perfect for Valentine's Day :) It's pretty. I'm plumb tuckered out so I'm going to bed. Night!

Today I just did a few subjects and took a nap. I laid down at like....2:00 and slept till 4:30. Well...Mom woke me up at 4:30. And told me she was going shopping. She was going to brave the dangerous roads. So she left and I listened to music and made dinner(chicken salad). We were about to eat and watch Avatar when Dad came home. He watched with us too. Then we sorted cellphones for the phone drive at our church. There are 81 cellphones, 21 adapters, and 75 chargers! He got the phones from the people at his work(they just got new phones, so he took the old ones). Then Mom came home at 8:30 about(she was gone for 4 HOURS!!) She had a ton of food :) Now I'm blogging and reading Pride and Predjudice on Dad's iTouch.

Snowy. VERY SNOWY. You will never believe how many inches we got. 8 INCHES!!! And more is coming. It's INSANE!!

Band was cancelled for today along with more than 400 SCHOOL CLOSINGS!! Yeah, it's pretty bad. We're pretty much snowed in.

Dad went to work today, and when he tried to get in the driveway when he came home, he got stuck in a ditch!!! He had to shovel the car out!

We had a very short day of school today. We did a couple subjects and watched the last of our home videos.

So,today was a pretty exciting day. It's very cold here......

Super Bowl!

Ha ha :) Today was THE BEST!! xDD I went to church this morning and helped out in children's church with my friends. Then I came home and took a picture for my blog.

Then waited until like...4:30? Then I dressed in something more casual and redid my eye makeup(I did a daytime smokey eye xD). Then I went to the Super Bowl Party at church!! It was awesome! There was a ton of food, and the super bowl (of course) and my friends were there too. Garrison got a stomach ache from too much food at one point, so Dad took Mom and him home, and I stayed. Then Dad came back and watched until the game was over. And I hung out the whole time :) It was wicked awesome :)

So that's a highlight of my day...and I'm really tired. And I have a science test tomorrow :P Not looking forward to that. Pray for me please! :)

I SLEPT IN!!! WOOT! xD I got out of bed at 9:45, and went down to have breakfast. I head corn flakes. Yum. Then I made sugar cookie dough for the Valentine's Party at Cubbies :) Then I got dressed and ready for the day, and Mom taped me rolling out cookie dough. We had Hawiian pizza for dinner :d It was reaaaaaally good.

Before I started on my cookie dough, Mom told me to get everything mise en place. That means "putting in place". So I measured out everything and set it on the counter. Here it is:

We just did a couple subjects, and watched old videos from when I was a 6-year-old chatterbox and Garrison was a chubby newborn. Aah, sweet memories...even though I don't really remember them. Heh xD Tomorrow I get to sleep in!! And here's a surprise: my mom and dad are going to start taping us again, just like we used to(I will too probably), and I think we're starting tomorrow. I went to clarinet lessons, and it went pretty well. I got a 95 on my math, and everything just went great today. I'm going to write much, it's 10:30. Tomorrow, I'm going to Friday school if it isn't too icy out. There's supposed to be an ice storm tomorrow :(

Today was...fine I guess........it just wasn't the greatest. I didn't get my school done on time, and we had to go to band. And I got a headache as we were coming home. Aah, today was PJ day :) That's pretty much the only good thing about Monday. I don't like Monday. xp We did school. And I got done on time for once. And during school, I started drawing realistic features. I've been going to an art class on Friday, and my teacher has really gotten me into portraiture. So I drew something for my dad since he's been saying he needs a picture. So I drew him this today. And yes I DREW IT :)

Yes, I know, it's hard to believe since I draw only manga, but I DID DRAW THESE!! And I'm quite proud of them too. There's an eye, nose, eyebrow, and lips. Enjoy!! :)

Yes, you read right, I did school today, since I didn't do any on Monday. So after church I came home and did school all day. For dinner we had turkey breast, Grandma's rolls, sweet potatoes, veggies, and Lemonade :) Then I did more school after dinner. Then clarinet. Now I'm here typing and I am worn out. I want to go to bed... Well, I think I will. After I wash my face, brush my teeth....ehh, you get the picture.

Today was pretty ok. I got to sleep in till ten (alleluia!!), and when I came downstairs I ate breakfast. I had a headache, and after I ate it was gone.

Then I got ready, and Dad and I went to Books & Co. and Mac Town(apple store). Then we went to pick Garrison up from Grandma Florence's. When we were there visiting, my headache came back, full blast. I took some medicine, and then we went home. We watched Avatar the Last Airbender, then had dinner. After that a had a long hot bath :) After that Mom painted my nails, and I had cous-cous. Afterwards, I then played Super Smash Bros. for the Wii :)

So, it wasn't super exciting today. But I had a good day nonetheless.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cake and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream xDD

Today was sweet! I went to Friday school, and started drawing a nose(like, a real one). I know that's surprising, but I find myself enjoying portraiture :) After that, we did a little more school, then we were done. After that I cleaned my room and wrote a letter to Ellyn(which will be promptly sent tomorrow :D) Then Garrison was off to Grandma Florence's to spend the night.

It was 5:30 when Mom said out of the blue, "We're going out to eat. Get freshened up, and let's go."

The three of us went to Generations. Dad got a pizza, Mom and I got subs. And they were very good :) Then we went shopping. In the freezing. cold. weather. AAAAAGGHHHH!!!! :/ And I didn't have a coat.

When we got home, we had Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cake that my Mom made. Mom specifically told me to say that we made a third of a recipe, so that's why it looks so flat(below). And this recipe was originally my grandma's xDD And we also had Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Mom got at the store. Which Dad said was boring, but ate it anyway :)

While we were eating, we watched the Italian Job. That movie is so awesome :) This was my first time seeing it. And now it's very late, so I should be getting to bed.

That was soooo good. We're going to have it with lunch tomorrow too xDDDDDD I have a huge sweet tooth xD

This morning I wasn't feeling too good. We did just a little bit of school today, then watched Frontier House. IT IS SO GOOD!! :) It's about three families who are challenged to live an 1883 life, for five months, and it is totally fantastic!!

After we watched Frontier House, I chopped veggies for chicken noodle soup and salad. Then while we ate dinner, we watched Facing the Giants for the first time. It was pretty good. I'm feeling better now, and by tomorrow, I should be as good as new :)

My friend Bethany suggested that I take a picture of food. So I took a picture of all the veggies I chopped :D

What we have pictured here are: carrots, radishes, celery, and peppers :) And inspiring sunlight shining brightly through our brown french doors. Ok, getting a little too poetic xD

Today was ok. It was wild and crazy at Cubbies, and when I came home, I still had a lot of things to do. After I practiced my clarinet, my throat started to feel scratchy, and my energy level hit rock bottom. Mom made me some tea (so nice....:3)And I took my picture. ok, I was SUPPOSED to take a picture of my book, but the camera wasn't cooperating, so in this picture I was shaking it cause I was getting frustrated.

Today was pretty good :) Garrison had an orthodonist appointment, and they see braces his future. *sigh* I can't imagine Garrison with BRACES!!! But before they put in braces, they want to put in this metal thing in his mouth to stretch out his jaw because its way too small. You may be thinking, "Garrison's mouth too SMALL??" Hey, you said it, not me.

I got done with my math before lunch xDDD And I only missed two problems!!! I went to band today and got two more pieces. One is just one page long, and the other...SIX PAGES LONG!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! I'm going to die....:(

Anyway, we are going to watch the Biggest Loser tonight. I don't particularly care for the Red Team. Especially the girl. She kinda reminds me of Tracy from last season...

Ok, I told you I'd tell you what the piece from yesterday was called, and it is...."Stars and Stripes Forever"!!!! It's one of my band pieces and it's five pages long. :/

Hi, it's me again. I am going to post my picture for today now ;) Bethany is gone :( We had so much fun, and I can't wait until she can sleep over again! But I am sooooooooooo tired. Hi, sorry I didn't post a picture yesterday, my friend Bethany and I were having TOO MUCH FUN!!! So, I went to a tea meeting in the morning yesterday, then to Garrison's Pinewood Derby, then to pick up Bethany, then home :) We had waffles, sausage, eggs, and pancakes(we made the pancakes). Bethany has to go home soon and she says, "I like Zutara!!!!!!!!!!!!" .....Yeah, we were watching Avatar.....I'll post another picture for today later...

Today was pretty good :DD I went to Friday school and no one was there! So no art today :( I was sad. But then we went grocery shopping, and then to Hobby Lobby! Not much happened today. We did school, went to clarinet lessons, then came back and watched Chopped. And Garrison tore apart his new PowerMiner Lego set he just built and got yesterday o_0 Yeah, he takes apart his Legos like, almost instantly.
We are going to have a surf-and-turf dinner tonight with shrimp, chicken, and cocktail sauce. We were also going to have tofu, but Mom announced that it smelled sour and threw it away. It was past the due date anyway. But we were still sad :( Oh well. My pic for today is:

Rollerblading and Biscotti

I went rollerblading today, and it was AWESOME!!!! I didn't even fall once, but that's because I've been rollerblading for years and years and years on end. I also went to LIT at Cubbies tonight. There were only seven tonight, so it was pretty calm. When I got home, I had Brownie Biscotti my mom made a few days ago. It was gooood. Here's my pic:

The Angels will Rejoice...

Today was a very emotional and life-changing day for me. The day started out terribly. I was complaining about my math (as usual) and I got really angry and said some things to my mom that I really regret. She said that if I don't change my attitude, then my friend will not sleep over on Saturday. Well, that got me good. I started crying like a little baby, and my mom says, "I hope you're crying because you're guilty, not because your friend might not come over."

I admitted I was crying because my friend might not come over, and then I went on to say that I didn't even know if I was a Christan or not. My mom then calls Garrison and we talk about how you know if you're saved or not, the ABC's of becoming a Christian, and the Fruit of the Spirit.

After that, I went up to my room and made a chart of what a Non-Christian and a Christian do. I did all the things Non-Christians do and nothing Christian. I then realized that I wasn't a Christian. I thought I accepted Jesus when I was five, but I don't think I understood. So I prayed that God would come into my heart, and when I came downstairs, I had a better attitude and I felt....AWESOME!!! xDD

It has been a life-changing day for me. And guess what? I did my math JUST FINE! Ha :) Mom said I could stay home from band today, so I did. The rest of the school day went as smooth as butta :)

So I thought I was a Christian, but the whole time I was pretending...and I didn't even know it.

My Bible. I will try to read it with a willing heart from now on :)

Chicken Noodle Soup (for the soul :D)

Since it's Martin Luther King Jr. Day, I didn't do any school. I had a lazy(I know I use that word a lot) day, and it was pretty fun. We relaxed all day in our PJs till Mom said we had to get dressed. We also made Chicken Noodle soup for dinner. Yum! We also had cheesy bread and salad. Even though today was slow-paced, the rest of the week is going to be really busy. Tomorrow is band, then on Wednesday I'm going rollerblading, on Thursday I am going to clarinet lessons, Friday is Friday school, and on Saturday is Garrison's Pinewood Derby, a tea meeting, plus my friend is going to spend the night and come to church with me on Sunday. Phew! Now that's what I call a full week!

Cincinnati Art Museum :D

Today was awesome! Ok, so I went to church, and afterword my mom and I went to the Cincinnati Art Museum :) It was wonderful! There a few floors of different artwork, and we were allowed to take pictures xDD So we did. We took A LOT of photos. Then after that, we came home to eat dinner (I had only 13 minutes) then my dad dropped me off at my youth leader's house for a Bible video and some snacks. So it turned out to be a great day. And well....I'm just plumb tuckered out :) My back aches and my feet are sore, but who cares?

This is called Young Girl Holding a Medal. It is by a Follower of Rembrandt van Rijn. After ca.1650. I loved this painting sooo much. It inspires me. Wish I could have it on my wall :)

Sesame Stir Fry :d

It's Saturday!! Today, Dad woke me up at 10:35, and then I came downstairs and had breakfast. Then I played video games. Mom came home from a funeral, then went back out again to get some groceries after lunch. I then proceeded to make a stir fry :) I called Mom, and she told me how much rice and water to put in the rice cooker.

After that, I did everything on my own. I can't tell you the recipe because....well, there isn't any recipe. I just threw things in a pan that I thought would taste good together. And they did! It was delicious :) I also had cantaloupe :)

Ginger was staring at me the WHOLE TIME I was eating. Her little oh-come-on-I'm-so-cute-don't-you-feel-sorry-for-me-give-me-some-food- game didn't work on me. I just waved my chopsticks at her and said, "There is no way I'm giving you any of this stuff. It's too good to give up." And I ate my WHOLE MEAL WITH CHOPSTICKS!! Ha ha :)

So, that's what has happened so far. I have to go practice my clarinet and get dressed and stuff...then I'll probably do....something. Wow, I didn't intend for my post to be this long :/ Oh well :) Anyway, here is the stir fry!

It is the best stir-fry ever!! I need to make it next Saturday! :)

Nerf Night :D

It's Friday again, and we did something special. We had Nerf Night. It's where you sneak up on people, and shoot them until you run out of ammo. With Nerf guns of course :) We had sooo much fun :) My mom is popping popcorn for us now, and we're all going to play Cranium Cadoo. Aah, Friday nights are wonderful :) Here's my brother, Garrison, all geared up and ready to have fun.

Ice Crystals...

Today was tiring. I'm pooped. This morning, I went outside to take a picture of a tree with ice crystals covering it(even the bark!!). Then we did school. Then Mom and Garrison went to pick up some of his friends for AWANA tonight. They had dinner with us, and then we headed to AWANA. I helped out with Cubbies as usual. One of the Cubbies had his tooth knocked out by another one(accidentally), and he was screaming for quite a while :/ It wasn't a pretty sight. Poor quy :( Then we dropped Garrison's friends off, and then stayed and chatted for a bit. Then we drove the long road home. I had a snack and now I'm sitting here typing. Another AWESOME day of school :) Got a 100% on my math AGAIN! :) I also had band. I. am. dead. meat. I got a piece that's five pages long, a piece that's one page long, a piece that's two pages long, plus another five page one, and another two page one!!! So far. Ok, so today during school I had just got done using the restroom, and had stepped out into the kitchen when I saw my brother, Garrison at the counter. There was something dark on his face, so I got closer. He had scribbled ALL OVER HIS FACE with a marker! Good thing it's washable. I screeched, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FACE?!" He just smiled and said, "I'm a Frenchman." Yeah, an evil zombie frenchman. He even colored his eyebrows! My mom forced a smile and said, "Niiiiice." I thought it was funny, so I took a picture. Yesss! I made my grandma's and mom's famous pizza by myself today :) I also made a salad that took me like...30 minutes because I was cutting everything so nice and fine :) So, yeah, everybody loved it xD Three quarters of it is buffalo wing (my fave :D) and one quarter of it is just cheese. That's because my brother wanted something not so spicy :/ I guess that's a good thing, because I went kinda overboard with the Red Hot...but I didn't think it was too spicy. Dad and my brother did. My mom and I were completly satisfied though. I guess we just have the sophisticated tastes :) So here's the pizza...

Today was AWESOME!! And it's SATURDAY! :) We went sledding today at a school and it was fun. I wiped out quite a few times, and my rump hurts :/ Then we stopped by McDonald's and got hot cocoa and coffee :) When we got home, I made a gingerbread tree, and my brother made a gingerbread house (my brother and mom got the kits earlier this morning when I was in bed :D). I know, I know, it's past Christmas, but Mom knew we really wanted to do some, plus it was low priced! It was 75% off :) And the kits are very good quality! The icing is sooo good as well as the candy :) So my picture for today is:
